Now, off shoring is pretty much the same as regular Outsourcing, it’s just that off shoring means that you seek services or products ‘outside’ the country in which the business resides. For example: if a business is located in the UK and outsources its services or products to China, it’s now called off shoring. Seems pretty straight forward right? Well, apparently not to some folk. According to Wikipedia there’s difficulty in separating the two terms. Can’t see it myself, basically both methods are outsourcing, it’s just that one is in your own country and the other is where you’re hiring an external company outside of the country of where the business is. Let’s face it; it’s not rocket science.
